SP Motors Covid-19 Lockdown FAQ

 

Is SP Motors Australia still open?

Following current NSW Government mandate and advice from the Australian Automotive Dealers Association (AADA), our showroom will be closed to the public, and we have transitioned to virtual Sales and contactless vehicle collection.

 

What is ‘Virtual Sales and Contactless Collection’?

We will still be operational, where customers can still call, email, or request a video tour of the vehicle at a time that best suits. Our friendly staff will be present to answer any enquiries pertaining our stock.

To protect our staff and customers to prevent community transmission of COVID, spread, collections of purchased vehicles will be contactless. Your vehicle will be ready for pick up from our “Zero-contact” Collection Bay. All paperwork will be finalised prior to collection ensuring a seamless process.

 

Should you not be able to collect your vehicle from the dealership, we can arrange for vehicles to be safely delivered to your home. Our transport partners ship Australia-wide, just ask our friendly staff regarding logistic information.

 

How can I inspect the vehicle before purchase?

As you cannot physically be in our showroom at this stage due to strict “stay at home orders” and/or test drive the vehicle, you may request to have the vehicle independently inspected, such as Stateroads, NRMA, Redbook and Double CheX to name a few. The inspectors will carry out a thorough check of the vehicle and provide a report on the vehicle’s status and quality and if any items need attention.

 

What payment methods do we take?

 To limit contactless transactions the preferred payment will be via:

  • Bank Transfers*

  • Bank Cheque

  • Direct Deposits*

  • Credit Card (fees apply)

(Note * payments will need to clear into our accounts, prior to vehicle release)

 

What is SP Motors Australia doing to be Covid-19 Safe?

Along with maintaining a high level of service, we have rostered our staff to reduce points of contact within staff and are also ensuring we abide by the rules and regulations currently implemented such as socially distancing, always wearing a mask, washing our hands regularly, reducing contact with the public, cleaning our vehicles and office environment. All vehicles are thoroughly detailed upon arrival, antibacterial and anti-viral clean after every use prior to any vehicle collection.
